REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE
The school reopened after Xmas holidays on the first day of the new year. With new year and new hopes, a new Head Master joined the school. Shamsudeen sir was replaced by Jalaludeen Sir. The school atmosphere changed the first week he joined. Sir spoke only in English and instructed the teaching and non teaching staffs and the students to respond only in English. A special assembly was conducted on Wednesday but in the absence pf Dr. Jayakumar, jalaludeen sir introduced himself to us. Another assembly was conducted the very next day in the school when Dr Jayakumar himself came and introduced Jalal Sir. Head Master talked to us on 3rd and asked what he can do for us. We were humbled by his simplicity. A sentence said by him still stays in my mind, I am the enemy of anyone who plays with the future of my students and I am looking only for professional satisfaction and nothing more. Assembly was conducted from Wednesday and also on Thursday and Friday. Class was observed by Mary miss on 6th. Sreedevi Miss also observed our class on 4.1.2018.

CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Three topics were taught this week for class IX. They were steps of Muscle Contraction and Muscle fatigue. Structure of nephron was repeated on Saturday as most of the students made wrong answers on this content during the diagnostic test. Mary miss observed that class.
Steps in Muscle Contraction was taught using ICT. Video showing the steps in muscle Contraction was played. Muscle fatigue was taught using flow charts showing the changes occurring in muscles during strenuous exercises
